Website maintenance is available at our normal hourly web development rate or by retainer for reduced costs. Since we charge the same rates for web development and website maintenance, the hours you purchase for website maintenance can be used for any web development, including major page reconstruction, redesigns and adding website functionality.
HTML or XHTML and CSS code validation is a value-added service that comes with Website Maintenance Retainer of 32 hours or more. We will validate your existing website code and attempt to fix any small errors in the code that are reported; however, unless you have a contract with us for a complete website redesign or choose to use your maintenance hours for a complete website redesign, so we can not make any promises about our ability to fully validate your existing website.
Checking the code for errors will not be subtracted from your maintenance hours, but code fixes will be subtracted. For this reason, we will notify your all errors found and ask you to sign off on any code fixes before they are made.
Website Maintenance Retainer Contracts come with on-page search engine optimization of your existing website (if it has not already been done or can be improved) and submission of a Google Sitemap to Google Webmaster Central. This will tell Google Indexing bots to checkout your website and it will report any errors that the Google bot finds. The free service does not include fixing the errors Google finds, but with your permission we will be happy to fix any errors and subtract the time from your Maintenance Retainer.
The Starter SEO Package is just the first step of search engine optimization and we can not guarantee that it will get your site on the first page of search engines or get you any specific results.
